Illume Taipei is a classic hotel conveniently located near Taipei Arena, with easy access to the metro station. The location is excellent, with a shopping mall right next door, as well as IKEA and Nitori located within the same complex, making it very convenient for both shopping and dining. There is also a 7-Eleven located inside the hotel, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or other essentials at any time. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. The lobby feels modern and stylish, featuring a fresh design complemented by several tasteful art pieces. Despite the building’s traditional exterior, the interior creates a welcoming and contemporary atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights is the room size. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, which is becoming increasingly rare among hotels in Taiwan. They also come with a private balcony and a bathtub, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. Geo26 November 2025Loved our experience at Illume hotel! The front desk was very helpful, the cleaning staff were very thorough, and the rooms were bigger than I expected. Granted, the hotel has portions in it where you’d notice it to be a bit on the older side, especially the subtle scent of the carpet along the halls. But other than that, the rooms were clean, the amenities were great (best gym!), the location was so convenient, and the service was excellent! (Great places also nearby! It’s also near the taipei arena train station and bus stops.)

nhi6 May 2025I had a wonderful stay at Illume for a total 8 nights. My room was modern clean and spacious. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The gym on the first floor was well equiped. Loved the water dispenser on each floor. The location was great, not too noisy like the city center. There is a mall just around the corner, with some delicious food and a market. There is a track field close by if you want to run and it is close to 2 MRT station and a lot of bus lines also.

Room: Clean & Comfortable Spacious, modern, and spotless. Big windows with great views. Bed was super comfy and Wi-Fi was fast and stable. Service: Exceptional Staff were warm, helpful, and went out of their way to assist with everything from humidifiers to dinner reservations. Breakfast: Delicious & Varied Huge buffet with Asian and Western options. Dumplings, congee, fresh fruit, eggs—you won’t leave hungry. Amenities: Well-Maintained Nice gym and pool. Only minor issue was elevator wait times during peak hours, but overall a smooth stay. Overall: Highly Recommend Great value for the location, service, and comfort. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Your stay comes with a large outdoor pool, a sauna, and an amazing standalone gym with every weight and machine you need for your workout. The laundry room was clean, not crowded, and very easy to navigate. The smallest problem is immediately remediated by the staff who show extreme care for the guest experience. The location is also great, as it is a mere 5-10 minute walk to the nearest MRT station. There is even a 711 accessible from within the first floor of the hotel. Sung Sun Hong26 August 2026ILLUME TAIPEI I stayed at ILLUME TAIPEI during my trip to Taipei, and overall I had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. What impressed me first was the size of the room. It felt much more spacious than a typical city business hotel. There was plenty of room around the bed, along with a table and seating area near the window, which made the room comfortable not only for sleeping but also for relaxing after a long day outside. The warm wood tones and soft lighting gave the room a calm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the city view from the higher floor. Opening the curtains in the morning and seeing Taipei spread out below was a wonderful way to start the day. The wide windows made the room feel even more open and gave me a great view of the surrounding cityscape. The bathroom was also spacious and well designed. The dark marble-style interior gave it an elegant feel, and the shower area, sink, illuminated mirror, and toilet area were all clean and thoughtfully arranged. There was also plenty of storage space near the entrance, which is especially convenient when staying for several nights. Another highlight for me was the fitness center. I have visited hotels where the “gym” means two treadmills and a lonely exercise bike in the corner, but this was completely different. The fitness area was surprisingly large, with cardio equipment, weight-training machines, benches, dumbbells, and plenty of space to exercise. If you like keeping up with your workouts while traveling, this is definitely a big advantage. Of course, when a hotel gym is this well equipped, it becomes much harder to use the classic vacation excuse: “I would exercise, but the hotel gym isn't very good.” 😄 The hotel’s public areas were also spacious, modern, and well maintained. I also enjoyed the buffet restaurant, which offered a very wide variety of food. There were salad and vegetable stations, hot dishes, meat, Asian dishes, noodles, fried items, desserts, fruit, and many other choices. The buffet area itself was large, and walking around to see everything available was almost part of the experience. There were enough options that both international travelers and guests looking for familiar Asian flavors should be able to find something they enjoy. The only dangerous part of a buffet like this is that you begin with a very responsible plan: “I'll just eat a little.” Ten minutes later, your plate has apparently made completely different plans. 😄 Overall, I found ILLUME TAIPEI to be a very well-balanced hotel. The spacious room, comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom, impressive city views, excellent fitness facilities, and large buffet made the stay very comfortable. It is the kind of hotel that works well not only for sightseeing but also for business trips or longer stays in Taipei. I would definitely consider staying at ILLUME TAIPEI again on my next visit to Taipei.

D C20 December 2025Choosing hotels for my Taiwan trip took nearly a week because I can be quite picky about accommodations. ILLUME turned out to be the perfect choice, meeting all my priorities. From the moment I dropped off my luggage in the elegant lobby, I felt welcomed. The staff was friendly and even accommodated my request for an early check-in, allowing me to settle in two hours ahead of the standard 4 PM check-in time. I was assigned a room next to the sauna and steam room, which I appreciated for its convenience. However, there were some noises in the evening from nearby banquet events and guests doing laundry, but as someone who tends to stay up late, it didn't bother me at all. The gym is shared and well-equipped, typically not crowded except during peak hours when fitness classes draw in more guests. My room was clean and received daily housekeeping, although there were a couple of times when the cups weren't cleaned. I understand they might have thought I was still using them, so no complaints there. It’s also worth noting that there’s a 7-11 convenience store just downstairs, connected directly to the hotel lobby, where they sell Taiwan's famous branded cakes like 太陽餅 and 鳳梨蘇. Plus, there are numerous buses nearby, making transportation super convenient—I didn’t even need to rely on the subway! I really enjoyed the air conditioning—it was cool enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely return without hesitation!

Hani Le Daf16 December 2025We extended our initial 3-day booking in Ilume to 7 days as our family room for 4 (quad with balcony) was very clean, spacious and well-maintained. Bonus points for the large, clean bathroom with bathtub and bidet! The hotel is also conveniently located (abt 3 min walk) near a shopping mall (Breeze Nanjing) which houses Ikea, Nitori, Starbucks, 7-11 and a supermarket. We love it as it is not as chaotic and congested as hotels near the Ximending area. Special mention goes to the friendly concierge staff, Mr Dean Chu, and the very helpful and hospitable Mr Jacky Chan. We were looking for a foot reflexology place near midnight and he helped to source a good place and even helped us make a booking with the spa. We will definitely return to Illume the next time we visit Taipei!Posted on Google

Ю19 September 2024I booked a suite with a king size bed. It was awesome. The hotel is huge. Lots of space inside and out. Depending on what you are looking for, the location could be great or not at all. The mall next door is alright. We didn't feel the need to check out the stadium at all. The buildings around this area tend to be huge that translates into longer walks to other buildings. The room is really nice. The tub probably didn't need all the grooves inside. The tub is actually on the smaller side if you are super tall. I wish I was there on the weekend and my toddler could drive the car in the outdoor play area. The pool looked nice, but we couldn't go because we didn't have proper wear (swim caps advised) There seems to be a lot happening in the hotel. The breakfast bar was on the expensive side but it was great. Lots of choices. My guest and I were full until dinner.

TheHipsterCher27 July 2024This is more of five stars hotel instead of its rated four stars. The room is spacious with the firm mattress. The staffs are extremely attentive and helpful. This hotel has an incredible gym and yoga studio; the swimming pool needs to be improved a little with only one shower head. It is also required to wear a swimming cap which can be borrowed at the front desk. It is next to Breeze mall, we have our private side exits to various places such as the gym, Breeze mall and other side of road for breakfast shops and restaurants. There is also 7-eleven inside the hotel,it is a saving grace during Typhoon days. Due to its convenience and quality service, we didn’t suffer a bit of typhoons and the air drill. We enjoyed our time there everyday. Apparently, the hotel buffet is popular but we didn’t try it though.

うらしま“HOU”ひろえ20 October 20262回目の台北 松山空港からすぐ 車中から見た素敵な並木道沿いの ホテルということで決めました。 思っていたより大きな立派なホテル 台北大人3人旅 シングルベッド3台 入る部屋は貴重です。 広々していてダイニングテーブルあり （応接セットじゃなくて使いやすい！） 水回りも広いしバスタブ、シャワーが 別スペースです。 タオルだけが謎に古くてぼろぼろだったのが謎です。 ベルボーイ（古い言い方）の方がいつも 入り口のラゲージ置きにいらして、 最後Uberに乗る時飛び出てきてお見送り してくれてとっても印象的。

陳觀貞15 October 202610/11在茹曦酒店的5樓斯賓諾莎廳辦婚禮，場地很漂亮，有一個小廳、而且是獨立的空間很棒，提供當新娘房的套房很大、很舒適，剛好被安排在同一個樓層很方便，是我夢想的場地。 業務Nikki在前一天跟當天婚宴都有到場，協助我們處理婚宴上的事情，在事前的接洽，也協助處理雜事跟我的疑問，真的很謝謝她的幫忙☺️

謝Ethan15 October 2026服務很用心，每一桌有送pizza（可帶回家，臨走還會幫你打包好）吃飯途中還有非常利害的酥皮濃湯，還有送糖葫蘆跟蛋塔 強烈推薦甜點 龜苓膏 杏仁豆腐 芒果奶酪ㄧ定要吃，是他們自己做的，我們家人5個人ㄧ人大概都吃了3組 相比其他自助餐，覺得目前最強
